Collection and storage of personal data and the
nature and purpose of their use

a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.ehlers-ehlers-und-partner.de, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your end device. his information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:
IP address of the requesting computer,
Date and time of access,
Name and URL of the accessed file,
Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your
computer as well as the name of your access provider.
We process the mentioned data for the following purposes:
Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website,

for further administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for data collection. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. Log data does not contain any personal data. We only analyze log data on an ad hoc basis, especially to rectify malfunctions in the operation of our website or to clarify security incidents. We store this log data without any time limit.
For troubleshooting or securing evidence in the event of security incidents, it may be necessary for us to additionally collect the IP address of the end device with the log data. We delete this data as soon as the malfunction has been rectified or the security incident has been conclusively clarified, or if the purpose of the processing no longer applies for other reasons. Where permissible and necessary, we may, in individual cases of a security incident, pass log data on to law enforcement authorities.

We store the aforementioned log data separately from other data collected during the use of our website.

b) When registering for our newsletter

If you have expressly consented in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR, we use your email address to send you our newsletter regularly. Providing an email address is sufficient to receive the newsletter.
Unsubscribing is possible at any time, for example, via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your unsubscribe request to munich@eep-law.de by email at any time.

If you contact us outside of a specific contractual relationship, we provide various, including purely technical, contact options on our websites.

In order to process your specific request when contacting us, we may ask you for personal data. This may include, for example, your name, email address, and further information such as the subject of your inquiry and your message. Optionally, you can provide your address and/or telephone number. We collect the information requested in order to be able to address your concerns comprehensively.

The personal data transmitted to us in this way is used exclusively for the purpose for which you provide it to us when contacting us – in particular, for processing your request. For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. Providing a valid email address is required so that we know who the request comes from and can respond to it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR based on your voluntarily given consent.
The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed.

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data,

4. Social Media Sites

The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is important to us. We process personal data transmitted to us, which is collected when you visit our respective social media page (e. g. Facebook Fanpage, Instagram/Pinterest Page), confidentially and only in accordance with the legal provisions. The respective operator of the social media page (see examples below) is jointly responsible for the processing of your data via our social media page. Data processing by the social media service

We have no influence on the data processing by the social media provider following the survey.

Data processing by us

On the website provided by us via the social media provider, the social media provider grants us access to the following categories of data:

• The social media provider grants us access to statistical analyses that provide information about the use of our social media website. The analyses visible to us do not allow us to individually analyse the usage behaviour of individual persons. We use the Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistical tools and other technologies on our website. The Google Tag Manager itself does not create any user profiles, does not store any cookies and does not carry out any independent analyses. It is only used to manage and display the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager records your IP address, which may also be transmitted to Google’s parent company in the United States.

Google Analytics

For web analysis, we use the Google Analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The information about your use of our website is transmitted to Google Analytics servers, evaluated and passed on to us exclusively as cumulative data. This allows us to identify trends in general website usage. We do not combine the resulting user profiles with your name or other information that reveals your identity, such as your e-mail address.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms into Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on the user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (target group targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively, for example by analyzing which search terms have led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements have led to corresponding clicks.

We work together with service providers for the implementation and operation of our website. We have carefully selected these service providers and concluded a data protection agreement with each of them to protect your data.

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser. We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties.
