Dr. iur. Johannes Arndt, LL.B.

Since 2020, Dr. Johannes Arndt has been supporting the Berlin team in advising care institutions, child and youth assistance and integration assistance as well as doctors. He specializes in issues of SGB XI, SGB VIII, SGB IX, SGB XII and SGB V as well as the WBVG and the Landesheimgesetze. Mr. Arndt completed his first internship at Ehlers, Ehlers and Partner in 2013 and has since worked regularly as a freelance employee for the law firm.

Prior to his current position at Ehlers, Ehlers and Partner, he worked in various major law firms as well as in the “Concerted Care Action” unit at the Federal Ministry of Health. He completed his doctorate on legal issues related to blockchain technology across jurisdictions and has received several awards for his work. During his studies and his doctorate at Bucerius Law School and Trinity College, University of Cambridge, he worked at the Chair of Civil Law, Labour Law and Civil Procedure Law, and as a research assistant supported teaching in the area of “Work and Social Affairs”.

Mr. Arndt is a member of the board of the Bucerius Alumni Association and, together with representatives of science, heads the group “Health & Care”.
